I always thought of David Thomas as a less abstract, more accessible Captain Beefheart. Adore the quirkiness, delivery and overall view of things in general.

Seeing the passion some of you show here for your favorite artists is inspiring! I remember someone saying once Sun Ra's jazz material was criminally underrated and unappreciated. Wish I could remember who that was ?
