Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers with Barney Wilen - Soundtrack From The Film 'Dangerous Friendships' - Les Liaisons Dangereuses (Fontana, 1960 Original UK pressing)
This is so much more than a simple soundtrack album. Its pure energy and simply amazing music. The film was originally banned from export because it was too provocative, and as such so was the album. However, a UK pressing seemed to have slipped through the net although sales were low because no one had seen the banned film. A year later the film gained general release (although it was heavily edited) and so did the album. This UK pressing is actually really rare, and the only one to feature actress Jeanne Moreau on the cover.

Rough Trade (2019)
Got to see these guys live on Tuesday and came away quite impressed. They’re very young but very focused. They have a sound that’s heavy on the influences, but they do seem to have their own unique flavor. Will be interesting to see where they go from here.
