Various – Sunny Side Up (2019 Limited Edition Magenta pressing on Brownswood).
Similar to the 2018 'We Out Here' comp that showcased the UK Jazz scene, this is focusing on Melbourne, Australia. Fantastic stuff, and I'm already looking into the individual artists to see what else they have available to listen to! Im Hoping Brownswood/Gilles Peterson makes more of these showcase albums in the future!
Been streaming all day. Violent Femmes new album was fine. Chance's new album was a good next step in his discography... except for the skits. Why would he bring back skits?!?!!?
Now it's on to vinyl. Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill just hit the TT. I have new stuff, but I need to clean it
Don't know whether this was a bonus record or posted by mistake but it was in with my Lealani album. Whatever the reason I have it, I'm very happy I do. I hadn't heard of him before but I've spin this 3 times already. It's great. It's all bleeps bops and bloops.
Ending the evening with some elevator music.... that's being mean, it's better than that and I do like it a lot but is a tad easy listening. It's definitely not a classic amongst the classics.
