This reminds me so much of some of the Elephant Six Collective shows I've gone to and boots I've heard. I'd like to know if they were listening to any early Lou. For the lofi fans this should be a classic album.

First listen, I loved Disc 1 Side B the most because of the instruments they brought into the mix. I'll need to give it a couple more spins, but I can say first impression is that I immediately liked it better than anything they've put out in over 20 years, and I think it's because it hits a slightly more experimental note than their usual sound. I'd honestly love to hear an instrumental version of this one. I think several of the tracks could turn into extended jams live. So hopefully they'll do that and I'll find a boot online that'll hit that sweet spot for me. I'm looking forward to sitting down and doing a closer listen on my headphones next!

I just grabbed that MOV pressing they remastered from the original three track tapes for like $11. It's pure ear candy. A great album to share with the wife!

I remember in the fall of 2010, working a new job, this was one of those albums I had on repeat. For the most part, I've enjoyed her albums since (the song Screwed is hot garbage, though) but she's yet to come close to this one, IMO.
