Agreed. I like this album a lot and listen pretty often. I’m sure it sounded crazy upon release, but the vocoder tracks hold up really well and probably make more sense nowadays.

It was well ahead of its time. Landing on Water is just bad and Life just uses it as bookends. It’s a shame that the Geffen era is so maligned because Trans and Old Ways are genius.
