This is a very good album I should listen to more often. I don't spin it much because I assumed my gf would not be a fan of it, but it turns out she enjoyed it this morning.

#23: Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers with Thelonious Monk

This album was my introduction to Art Blakey. I bought it at a record fair about 5 years ago, knowing who Monk was, but not Blakey. This served as a gateway to a great artist and one of the best groups in jazz history.
