Man, my friend put "Blue Rondo à la Turk" on a mixtape for me when I was 19 and I the following payday I immediately picked this up on CD. The first non-Satchmo Jazz album I ever owned.

That same friend put me on to Nina Simone and broke down my resistance to The Hip and Radiohead. A good man.
