A very dreamy poppy album, as usual he uses a various array of instruments to create layers of sound, in some songs so many layers that make replay value rewarding. My favorite song on the album may be Yukinohaka, but every song sounds fresh so there's a lot to take in. Overall pretty mellow If you enjoy Port Entropy or In Focus then you should also like this one.

I liked In Focus and have not listened to Port Entropy, but I just picked up the latter for 50% off from Polyvinyl whilst rounding out my Deerhoof collection.

Hip Hop Monday goes back in time to the golden age and my favourite ever hip hop album. Perfect from start to finish.

Hip Hop Monday got me digging out records I've not heard for a long time. This Nehruvian Doom album is such fire.
The opening to this album is ridiculous it's so good. Busta kills it... And then that beat.... YES! Oof. What a way to end the evening. 
Oh go on then, one more then. This 12" single is from what I consider to be the golden era of UK hip hop. It's got Estelle on it before she became famous.
And the other 12" single from them. Not sure they did anything else. That scene was so proud of Estelle when she blew up, nobody else *really* made it to the big time like her.
