#132: Keith Jarrett - Fort Yawuh

It's time for one of my favorite artists of all time: Keith Jarrett. One thing I love him is how different his albums can be from each other, something that will be very evident as I spin his records during the next couple of days. This particular album with his American Quartet is a live performance were the band plays on the verge of Free Jazz with very loose time-keeping, but the profound sentiment that characterizes them. The performances always seem like they are on the edge of falling apart, but always resolve harmonically and rhythmically. This isn't my favorite Jarrett album, but it is a very interesting listen nevertheless.
