Lee Morgan - Introducing Lee Morgan (Savoy Records, 1956 First Mono pressing)
Another one from the instagram challenge. This time I had to pick out the 3rd record from the pack of a pile and play it. This choice was Introducing Lee Morgan on Savoy. Morgan was just 17 at the time of recording, fresh out of playing with the Dizzy Gillespie group. Originally set up as a Hank Mobley led session but Morgan was so impressive that they changed the title to be his feature.
