What's Spinning

True but signed by all members of Queen is undoubtedly a lovely thing. I have quite a few signed records, by the likes of Bowie, Bee Gees, Brian Wilson, Lou Reed, John Cale, Sparks, Talking Heads... I don’t think they’ll allow me to retire off the back of them but they’re undoubtedly nice to have and give a good memory of getting them.
Wow thats amazing! I also have a few records signed by Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac, etc which are cool as well. Like you said, doubt they are worth much but its cool to have them

streaming some albums the small local store we got on monsta island is selling

currently its this one

me too, ill give it another play during the weekend and will prbably grab it.

Both of these are superb and luckily have reissues. I have the Superfly records pressing of the Minoru Muraoka and the Mr Bongo presisng of Hozan Yamamoto. Fantastic music!

Count Basie & The Mills Brothers ‎– The Board Of Directors (Dot Records, 1968 First UK Pressing)

Old school cool. Classic vocal harmonies over Basie's piano and group. I recently finished 'Count Basie by Alun Morgan' which forms part of this killer 'Jazz Masters' series of books. They are fantastic and I currently have volumes on Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Duke Ellington, Lester Young, etc, plus there are some I haven't got including Charlie Parker, Stan Getz, Billie Holiday, Gil Evans, etc. I was amazed to read of all the different musicians that formed part of Basie's band over the years, including Thad Jones, Billie Holiday, Tommy Turrentine, Paul Quinichette.....
