Pastor TL Barrett - Like A Ship...(Without A Sail)

This album sent me down a big gospel funk rabbit hole a few years ago, for someone totally not into religion. Joyous is the word, I believe.

More Iggy. Kill City with James Williamson. Demos recorded for Elton John’s label but only released in 1977. Good tracks on this, I Got Nothing and Kill City itself. Williamson has some nice ideas. Not a patch on Raw Power though.

Queen - News Of The World (EMI, 1977 First UK Pressing & 2017 Anniversary Limited Picture Disc Edition)

Continuing working though the Queen discography today. This killer album is the original first pressing from 1977. I also picked up a limited anniversary edition (1977 pressed) a few years ago. I never played it and noticed that its sky rocketed in value (one sold for £200!) which is insane to me!

Queen - Jazz (EMI, 1978 First Picture Disc Pressing)

Not a fan of picture discs really, but I picked this one up at a carboot years ago for a few quid. I also have a fun piece to go with this, an inner sleeve from the standard version signed by all 4 members of the group (this one has a certificate of authenticity which my other signed record doesnt.....if that means anything haha)

New Values by Iggy. This is a pretty darn good one, it has I’m Bored and Five Foot One in it and is produced by James Williamson. If you like one Iggy album then chances are you’ll find something on each album. This one is before he went through a weird period of off the wall experimentation but that has its pleasures too.
