Wonderful music, not sure I’m too impressed by the mix though, the soloists seem hidden beneath the drums too much for my ears.
EDIT: much better from track 2 onwards.

Charlie Parker - The Magnificent Charlie Parker (Clef Record, 2019 Black Friday Coloured Pressing)
I've always been a fan of Charlie Parker but this record blew me away. Such amazing playing with an impressive array of side-men. I didn't expect the couple of vocal tracks that are thrown in there either and they are really great.

Dexter Gordon - Soy Califa - Live From Magleaas Højskole 1967 (Gearbox Records, 2014 Limited First Pressing)
This is a great live session. In the early 60's Gordon moved to Europe and was met with open arms and kindness (he was leaving America as coming out from a dark place personally with heavy drug use). To give thanks back to the people he would regularly set up free live events and workshops at schools and colleges. This session is from an adult learning school in '67 and its stunning!
