What's The Most Valuable Record In Your Collection?

Seriously, though... this 7" I have is signed by 3 members, so I'd put it ABOVE going rate.

And this CD single

I don't understand the reference, but I do remember the forum member.

I understand the demand vs value of a collection. I'm just not in the market to sell my collection, so for me to even consider it I'd have to get a bid of at least median value. Kinda like how people put those "make me move" prices on their houses.
Enoch posted his whole collection for sale for the median price, which for his huge collection was something like $64,000. A lot of people tried to explain that he wasn't going to be able to find one person to pay that to him, some less courteously than others. He kept acting like he was doing us a favor by posting it here first, giving us the opportunity to have first crack at it. He got upset about it and left the forum for good.

I get what you mean about your collection, I was just joking since the Enoch thing was pretty crazy. I don't want to sell mine, and wouldn't want less than median either, but I don't think I would ever get it without doing one at a time.

Saw Ocean Blue live a few months late last year. Fun nostalgic show. Of course Between Something and Nothing was the encore/last song.

The closest they play to me is LA or Phoenix. The timing wasn’t right and I think they rescheduled the Phoenix show but I don’t know if I’ll go. Their newest album is pretty good.

While I love to imagine my imaginary wealth and the idea that I could liquidate it for cash, that's not the case.

I do think Discogs is reflective of the replacement value of my collection. So if I ever have a catastrophic incident, my homeowners better be prepared to pay up!

This silly paradigm occurred to me:
The Max value is what you could piece it out for if you really took your time and all your stuff was in great shape. The median value is the max value minus discogs fees. The minimum value is the median value minus shipping costs. So, if you piece it all out, taking your time with great stuff you can earn back minimum value.

Haven't done this in a while. Here's the current top 10 by median.
Notable new additions are the VMP Anthologies and the new BROCKHAMPTON.

Whats up with that Led Zeppelin? Smart of you ordering 2 ocean's too...i had one ordered but cancelled it:(

It's the first British pressing. Mine's not in pristine condition, especially the sleeve, but still sounds great, and it only cost me ~15€.

I only ordered one copy of Endless, but it came with a damaged sleeve (can't remember what it was exactly), and they just sent me a second one.
