Man, classical and Spotify is a combination that will wreck havoc on Last.fm. You think having an album show up multiple times is annoying? When a release is named after the work and the composer is listed first (or possibly as a root from what I can tell) you can have multiple albums show up as the same release.
Example: Chris Thile's "Bach: Sonatas and Partitas, Vol. 1" shows up as an album with Bach as the composer and that title. So if you search that title on Spotify, there are quite a few releases with that same title. Most of them by violin players, because that is what the music was originally written for... so while Thile isn't Perlman or Podger, he also is playing Mandolin....
