Been thinking a lot about breaking out and shelving individual albums from my boxsets so they get eyeballed more often to spin. Does anyone else do this?

Just heard back from my local shop. He said he had 2 of them on the shelf since it was released in January of 2023 that never sold. Then both copies sold via Discogs on Tuesday. He was curious about that and was wondering if something happened. He didn't hear the news until I let him know. He said it's always something tragic like that when records clear out out of the blue.
Not vinyl related: Tacoma or 4Runner?
This new Geordie Greep album sounds like if steely Dan and Black midi got really into Latin music... Its so good

And sold… will be my next new listen as that sounds like an album I’d like to make.

I get what you were saying. It’s more like Steely Dan hired Black Midi to do a jazz fusion album. It’s interesting, that’s for sure. I’m not sure all of it works, but it’s interesting.

Also the mixing in vinyl is a little muffled but I do appreciate the project a lot... The interludes and outros were lower unnecessary though
Y’all be good. I am on a small tropical island for the next week hanging out with the local sea life.
Alright New Orleans people, I will be attending a convention for work in December, what area is close to the convention center and things to do? Found a few options in Central City near St Charles Ave, is that close with things to do?

There are lots of Hotels on/near St. Charles that would be great. Just staying in the Central Business District is probably the way to go unless you want to stay at a boutique hotel on St. Charles.

With 5 of us going, my work will only pay for an Airbnb since they’re quite a bit cheaper. My manager wound up booking a house on the block of Robert C Blake Dr and MLK Blvd. Has plenty of good reviews, so hopefully it’ll be ok.

There's a great new bakery that just opened up around there, you should hit it up to support to locals Lagniappe Bakehouse
Going to see Crumb and Vahabon tonight!

I feel like it's newrly impossible to get set times since Covid so I guess we'll just have to play it by ear
Literally anyone besides Cage The Elephant

Idk how but I completely forgot this song existed. Which is a total shame because I absolutely adore it! So happy it randomly popped into my head today

It’s back on Spotify?!? It was gone last time I looked for it a year or so ago. Good to know. Great song. The Marcia Griffiths reggae version is pretty strong too.
