Go on, geezer.
Things are looking good

The Habs are the first team in NHL history to finish 32nd overallWhat is worst than finishing last? Finishing second last.
Arizona with an epic comeback. Who would have thunk it?

When you consider where they finished last season, that’s pretty wild. It's an honor. This season sucked as hard as any season could.

oh well…PLAYOFFS TIME![]()
After posting that above, I got thinking of those crazy plot twists we've had this year. It's a serious soap opera when you put it together. Right after the SCF ended, we had:
-News of the massive, potentially career ending injury to Weber (it wasn't potentially, it is definitely career-ending)
-News of Price having a knee injury needing surgery
-Price not being protected for the expansion draft
-Bergevin drafts Mailloux and makes all of the Habs community embarrassed
-Bergevin decides to let Danault walk
-Bergevin signs Hoffman and Savard to replace Danault and Weber
-The Kotkaniemi hostile takeover with all the drama that went with it (as painful as it was, it was the right decision to let him walk I think)
-The trade for Dvorak (turned out a lot more meh than expected)
-Price going on the player's assistance program
-Ducharme not being able to do anything with the players he has. The team looks completely lost.
-Petry stirs up shit by making comments about Ducharme.
-The injuries piling up. Edmonson taking a lot longer than expected (only came back in March).
-Drouin coming back from his personal break in 2021 only to always be injured.
-Price revealing he was on the program for substance abuse.
-Injury continuing to hit (Dvorak, Drouin, Gallagher, Toffoli, Petry all miss extended periods too) as a massive COVID outbreak hit the team.
-Habs play a game in Florida with only 18 players, including 10 call-ups. They just have nobody else left available.
-Habs beat the NHL record for most lost Player-games due to injury in a season.
-People say Caufield is a bust and should be sent to the AHL for a long time.
-Bergevin is fired.
-Gorton is hired. Then Hughes.
-Ducharme is fired.
-MSL is hired.
-Toffoli is traded.
-Petry wants to be traded.
-Chariot is traded. Great return.
-Then Kulak and Lekhonen too. Great returns.
-Caufield actually looks like a great player now: Under DD: 1 goal, 7 assists - under MSL 19 goals, 13 assists.
-Price comes back but still looks rough, talk about his knee issue continues.
-Habs finish last. There is much rejoicing.
