I'm not familiar with Anderson but I love most of these artists and I have store credit. Anyone have thoughts? I also just read this, which I think is pretty cool:View attachment 137862

Something Borrowed, Something New: A Tribute to John Anderson
'Something Borrowed, Something New' is a tribute album to the country singer John Anderson. We have it on Bloodshot vinyl.www.vinylmeplease.com
Looks pretty cool! For non-members, non-VMP releases (including a different color variation) are around $25+shipping.I'm not familiar with Anderson but I love most of these artists and I have store credit. Anyone have thoughts? I also just read this, which I think is pretty cool:
Dan Auerbach adds, "We weren’t trying to piddle around and make the normal tribute record. It had to be the best singers with the best songs and the best arrangements, and they had to come into the studio. This wasn’t like, ‘Mail me the song, and we’ll put it together.’ I think it makes this record unique. I don’t think most tribute records are done like this. I think that's why it sounds like a cohesive album. It feels like an amazing mix tape."

I have a bunch of comps in my regular rotation but not too familiar with this artist or songs so it's a streamer for me.Really great track list and artist list, but I can never justify buying tribute albums or comps because I just don't listen to them
My favorite John Anderson Album is All The People Are Talkin’, it’s more on the Honky Tonk side of Country spectrum. I don’t recall if ya roll with that sort of thing but if your curious give it a go.but not too familiar with this artist or songs
Oh I know, I've been periodically deleting them. Then he just copies and pastes them back. But knowing that he's checking like, hourly to make sure I haven't deleted them before he immediately pastes them back makes it even better. I just sent in notice to delete a few more after leaving them for a week. He's going to have to keep checking hourly for the next couple of years, this is what I do while I'm eating breakfast...
I kind of admire this level of pettiness.Oh I know, I've been periodically deleting them. Then he just copies and pastes them back. I mean it really comes down to how little time it takes out of my day. If I'm going to be impossibly petty, I want it to involve literally the least amount of effort on my part that can possibly be mustered.I kind of admire this level of pettiness.
I love your pettiness. Fuck this asshole!Oh I know, I've been periodically deleting them. Then he just copies and pastes them back. I'm late to the party on this but this is the guy who followed me around for a couple weeks on discogs and posted under several of my comments that I was a soy boy for complaining about them just throwing that Microphones boxset loose in a cardboard box, damaging most of the cases and then telling us all to pound sand. I thought it mighta been Phil for a minute thereOh I know, I've been periodically deleting them. Then he just copies and pastes them back.
