Is "Kendrick's team" and "Drakes team" all ran by the same folks at UMG and this is part of what he's referring to in the lawsuit?

I don't know, man. You've clearly got your mind made up about this lawsuit before it's even started so I really don't think me saying anything else is going to do much good. Besides there's no reason for me to try to convince you of anything anyways, you have your opinion and that's cool. I have my own opinion and I just don't buy this whole "Drake is a poor victim of big bad UMG" narrative one bit, sorry.

He's been the biggest popstar for well over a decade and never once in that time has he questioned if everything's working like it's supposed to, then he has a year where he's not on top and suddenly he becomes very concerned about the honesty of streaming data and botting numbers. That timing is too convenient and signals to me that even if there is legitimate fraud going on at UMG, Drake isn't mad that it's happening, just that it's not happening for him anymore.

I have two people on ignore. It’s really only annoying if they reply to something you said. In theory, I’m opposed to it. But in reality, it is very nice to just not get mad over nothing cause that’s all it ever is… nothing.

Yeah, I'm really not interested in going back and forth on this with you anymore and like others in here are saying I'm not invested enough in the outcome of this lawsuit to waste the energy. I'm not going to lose sleep because one of the richest men in music's streaming numbers were a little lower this year.

Some loose thoughts not necessarily at you specifically but about the pro Drake side of things and your post serve as great jumping off points for these thoughts

1) If you don't want to be called a pedo maybe don't do weird shit like kissing 17 year old girls and texting underage girls.

2) Drake is a huge hypocrite because he made the first direct defamatory accusation at Kendrick by calling him a wife beater. If that ended Kendrick's career I doubt Drake himself or his fans would feel sympathy

3) He is mad at UMG for "promoting and monetizing" a song defaming him when they also promoted and monetized a song he made defaming Kendrick

4) You cant act like Drake is some poor victim when your own posts shows that the accusations haven't affected him monetarily.

5) The same people pearl clutching about people going to Drake's house and opening fire (something absolutely fucked up) were laughing that Rick Ross got jumped in Canada

In the end I guess my thoughts are that Drake is a privileged twat who expected he would get special privalage and to be constantly worshipped and now that the machine didn't bend to his wills and he lost a public battle he his throwing a giant hissy fit like all rich pricks do. And his simps are acting like they have any moral high ground when in reality they have no actual morals and if the shoe was on the other foot they would be clowning the shit out of Kendrick. I have less than zero patience for hypocrites and Drake and his simps are massive fucking hypocrites

But damn, could you chill a bit? Seems this was going aight until some point. Also, why do some people just feel like they need to pop in just to pile on krooked ? never to be seen again in this thread just to come back whenever they can bash him again without contributing anything...

Maybe if UMG actually ends up suing Kendrick everyone will finally be able to put their feelings aside and really start to understand what's going on here. The latter, probably not.

I’m assuming this is about me? Yeah I’m not too active in this thread but I do pop in when something happens relevant to my interests and this absolutely relevant to my interest and this is where the conversation is happening. If this convo was happening in another thread I’d be there lol. Also this was the first time I ever replied to Krooked and as I said that wasn’t necessarily at him just a jumping off point for my thoughts, don’t see how replying to a comment in a conversation is bashing someone (though that comment may not be at me). Could I have just not replied to his message specifically, sure. But I also don’t think any harm was done replying to him
