I've always wanted to try the Event cables. If that's an option, I would push for that. Plus it's a lot easier to swap or sell cables than it is carts.

Like I said earlier, personally I go with something like... "That's a very kind offer, to be honest my current cables are likely comparable to your Missions but I've been looking to upgrade and several of my followers have asked about the Zu Events, I'd be thrilled to try out a pair of those if possible? If that doesn't work then I think the cart likely makes the most sense..."

Unless you can get a Grade II or Grade II Prime then your ML will likely best anything else they send. And it still may best even those two. I still vote Event.
