I've been revisiting Gary Jules discography today while working. I saw him live in Boulder a couple times back when he was riding the success of his Mad World cover. Listening through this time and it's all the more surprising that he didn't break through with his own song writing. It's quality.
The wife and I were able to revive our tradition of going to an Indian buffet for Thanksgiving after our local spot stopped doing it. Found an even better place that made a fantastic Turkey Tandoori and potato with cream and ghee.
I made batch of scotch bonnet jerk sauce this afternoon and then made a big pot of chicken and potato in a tomatillo verde sauce. My mouth can't stop watering. It's the ultimate comfort.

Just heard that Gary Indiana passed away today. I hope this will mean more of his work will be reprinted so that he's not forgotten so quickly.

Had some very limited and two expensive records delivered to the wrong damn address again today. This time it's the USPS who f'ed up. They put the key to the parcel locker in the wrong person's mailbox. But they can't tell me who and no idea if my neighbor will do the right thing.
