Going to hang out with a friend I haven't seen in over two years!!! Should be a fun night full of drinks, music, catching up and trying to figure out how to avoid this for the next pandemic!!

Put on a Karate album for our dinner soundtrack and as my wife is nodding along I causally change it to 33 from 45 and she seems a little thrown! She thought I was playing kids music for our daughter...is there kids music that sounds like the band Karate or will I be enjoying them at 45 from now on??

First job interview in about 5 years, was quick and painless and yet I can't stop going over what I said, what I should have said and what I shouldn't have said... Time to spin some records and get back to my happy place!
My 15 month old daughter wasn't feeling it when I switched to records this morning and made me turn my music off and go back to streaming the mix I turned off which is called lo-fi numero: brain beats...this is going to be a problem going forward...
BOOSTED!!! My wife goes later today so together we'll be the most powerful couple in the universe...or just like doing are part in this messed up world...
Was all excited to go to a new record shop that (may have) just opened in my neighborhood only to see on IG that they're closed today because the owner needs to take a Covid test! I guess it's better to hear that before I go then after...
Was telling my wife how I was going to reduce my vinyl spending next year and as I'm saying this she says "oh looks like a new record shop opened up in our neighborhood"....I did say NEXT year....off to check it out tomorrow, this could get MESSY!!
Getting back into the habit of playing music at home whenever I can, it makes everyone happy and lets me catch up on records that have been sitting in my "to listen to" pile for far too long!
Tonight's dinner soundtrack was Annie Hardy, the music went over well, the veggies didn't fare as well, they ALL ended up on the floor, I swear it was all my daughters doing!

I bought records today! Probably too many, or not enough, either way I'm happy... I think! It's the first time in a while it wasn't some pre-order it was just a grip of things I've been eyeing for a while, feels good not just putting things in my cart but actually pulling the trigger!!!
First weekend I'm alone taking care of my daughter, very excited and nervous! I can't wait to tackle "our" big pile of records "we" haven't listened to yet!!
My wife and daughter are away for a few days so for the first time in about 11 months I got to sit and enjoy my records again! Felt good!
Got 3 records today, one is 15 years old, one is 20, the other is 25...so I'm really getting comfortable in my "get off my lawn/old man shakes fist at cloud" life
Great weekend experiment! Dropping the 9 month old off at her aunt's house so the wife and I can have a lunch date....fingers crossed this works!
Going to Toronto for the first time in like 2 years to meet up for drinks with friends I haven't seen in almost 2 years (thanks Covid)... feeling excited and anxious!!!
I somehow managed to catch a cold from my raspberry blowing drooling 9 month old, I have no idea how this happened!?! It's been a long time since my last cold and turns out colds still sucks! Fortunately my work has rapid tests and it's not Covid which is a relief....
The new LUMP album did not disappoint! So happy this place (sorry, drawing a blank on the specific person) turned me on to them!
