I got the new Japanese Breakfast album a week early! Haven’t listened yet, I’m at work, but just got notice that it was delivered. I’ve become so used to getting things late over the last year that I’m shocked
Not a comics person really. I know nothing. But I stumbled into reading Saga and am loving it. Also just picked up Paper Girls Vol. 1. Right now just interested in Brian K Vaughn. But I’m assuming there are others I need to check out. Recommendations?
Don't know what to make of the new St. Vincent yet, but I jumped the gun on the vinyl pre-order and should have it tomorrow... Probs should have waited. It might grow on me. I think it's a weirder album than what I expected, in that it's more subdued than what she's been doing the past couple of records.
Just bought tickets for Moon River Festival, a thing local to me (literally a five minute walk from where I live). Pretty easy checkout, nice lineup (WILCO playing on the riverfront in my hometown is insane), and it’s the first show I’ll have been to since summer 2019!

One year ago I “went” to a Passover Seder via zoom. And it took my mind off of my new-at-the-time serious mental health issues. Today I’m doing better than I was a year ago. And I’m attending another Zoom Seder. Really doesn’t feel like it was long ago at all.
Second Vaccine dose is done!
You ever play one of those games where you add the same item to cart, and waffle back and forth on actually submitting the order? Like you go, fill out all your info, and then back out. Maybe a few times. And then you accidentally make it to the final page and submit the order cause it goes so quick and easy…but you didn’t actually mean to… just me? Ok.
When the classroom next door sent home 5 kids in one afternoon, each one vomiting one after the other it felt inevitable I’d get sick. Made especially more apparent when the sibling of one of those kids is in my class and came to school the next day. And then threw up yesterday. Who could have predicted it? Well I’m sick now.
First vaccine shot: completed. No issues, not a super crazy wait, pretty painless and swift.
