Got my Haim album In the mail yesterday. It's the red vinyl but I thought it was supposed to come with an autographed postcard. I can't find it anywhere.
Funny story. Yesterday I was plugging away at a report and listening to the album. Two middle school kids came to give me some paperwork. One of them said, "Hey I like that song." I didn't notice what song was playing.
The music loop at work has been heavily favoring Paul Carrack and all of his various hits the last couple of days. Yesterday was "How Long" and "The Living Years". Today was "Tempted" and a solo song called "Don't Shed A Tear".
Did anybody in the U.S. have their Haim album ship? I thought I had gotten a shipping confirmation a few days ago, but I guess it was just a link to the digital download.
It's time for a vinyl diet. I've bought over 30 records during the pandemic and have only listened to a couple of them so far. Time to catch up before I buy any more.
Starting to think about taking another trip to Japan next year. We've never been in the Spring. I wonder if it would be safe to travel there by March/April? It's still 9 months away.
Finally got my first unemployment payment issued even though I applied over a month ago. Certified for four weeks so far, and the payment is for weeks 3-4 (with the first two weeks still pending). Haven't received my debit card yet though so hopefully that's coming soon. This whole process has been a nightmare.
The audio is starting to cut out on our TV for some reason ... It's not too bad but we're hoping it doesn't get worse. Either way, thinking of getting some kind of sound bar. Does anybody have any recommendations?
