It's finally happened. I got a shipping notice today from Bull Moose for a record I'd completely forgotten that I ordered (The Georgia EP by Death Cab). I had ordered it back in January.
My wife and I are going to be visiting Chicago for a few days in September. I'm gonna need some recommendations (for record stores, but also for things to do in general)!
Informed Delivery tells me that I had a package delivered to the front porch today but I can't find it for the life of me. And I don't even know what it might be. It started showing up as an upcoming delivery a few days ago.
The Dua Lipa album I ordered from Rough Trade still hasn't had any movement even though I got the shipping notification on the 5th. Tracking just says that the label has been created.
My wife's boss gave her his tickets to a Bonnie Prince Billy show next Thursday at a winery in Sonoma. I guess they cost $600 and you could bring up to 6 people for that amount. Now we have to see if I can get out of work early enough to actually go.
My wife woke up laughing this morning and when I asked her what she was laughing at, she said that she had dreamt that she was watching a commercial for a pill called fast acting relief tablet... or FART for short
Last day of work today and then 11 days off. We are heading down to SoCal on Monday to visit family (and to celebrate my wife's birthday). And I'm hoping to get to the Glass House Record Store sometime next week too.
I know there are some people here on the forum who are good at graphic design, a skill I definitely lack. I'm trying to create cover art for my upcoming radio show/podcast The Bohnjaggs Experiment. Probably a square logo I can upload to display while the show is playing. Any ideas would be appreciated.
