Got a bonus from IKEA for the first time since I've been working for them and am going to spend a small portion of it on some albums that I've wanted for awhile.
It's a somewhat recent development but my wife and I got approved for a home loan and have started looking at houses. Should I be worried that she already wants to make an offer for one after only looking for two days.
The concert last night was so much fun. Japanese Breakfast was great. She's really improved her live show since the last time we saw her.
And SASAMI blew me away. I think she only played new songs from her upcoming release (and her cover of "Toxicity") but I did buy her previous album from her at the merch table and she signed it for me.
This new stripped down Japanese Breakfast live set is amazing. There's a song from her previous band Little Big League and a Weezer cover. We'll be seeing her in a couple of weeks.
It's been raining here in Sacramento for about 24 hours straight and I think it's supposed to go for about 12 hours more. They said we could set a record for the most rainfall in one day (which is currently around 5 inches).
Picked up a copy of Happy End's Kazemachi Roman album in Chicago of all places. I've never seen it outside of Japan and I've been kicking myself for not buying it there.
Flew into Columbus, Ohio yesterday. Already ate at Waffle House AND White Castle today, in addition to attending the rehearsal dinner for the wedding we're here for. Tomorrow is the wedding and then Sunday we head to Chicago for five days.
Faith No More and Mr. Bungle both canceled their tours today after Mike Patton announced that he was having some mental health issues. I hope that he can get the help that he needs.
