My wife's boss gave her his tickets to a Bonnie Prince Billy show next Thursday at a winery in Sonoma. I guess they cost $600 and you could bring up to 6 people for that amount. Now we have to see if I can get out of work early enough to actually go.

Edit: Actually the moonlight edition is easier to find but I prefer the original album cover

Just discovered this app called Anchor from Spotify. It lets you create a podcast or radio show, and can even play songs in it (as long as they're on Spotify) and you can record with up to five people if you wanted to. I had an internet radio show for years and this might be just what I need to get one up and running again.

Got my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine today

I know it's still a bit early, but as a retail worker who has to work face-to-face with hundreds of customers a day, I don't understand how we haven't yet been an eligible profession for the vaccine. My wife (who is 10 years younger than me) is getting hers on Sunday because she works with food. And my sister-in-law (who is a teacher) got her first shot last week.

Is there a thread for those who make music? I couldn't find one but I'm pretty sure there was one somewhere.

I used to record my own songs and had a Myspace (!) music page to showcase them but I don't play any instruments (other than a little bit of drums) but I do sing and I was wondering if there's a good way to experiment with making music on my computer using loops or royalty free samples?
