Y’all ever think if our dogs wish we would listen to less music? Like is this pup just fed up with the amount of music flooding through this house all day? Am I being inconsiderate?
Apparently me and my fiancé have VERY different ideas of what “Can you turn it down?” means. Apparently she expects it to be drastically lower, meanwhile I turn it down a decibel and expect that to work. She’s gonna leave me.
Why is Shore so goddamn good? I’ve listened to it at least once a day fully through since it’s dropped. These compositions and song structures are so cathartic and original.
Jazz friends: who do you think had the best performance on My Favorite Things (song/not full album), Tyner or Coltrane? I think I’ll have to give it to McCoy
Anybody else give Qwest TV a shot yet? Just jumped on a deal for 2 months for a dollar and it’s been super fun so far. Watching a 1965 Dave Brubeck concert from the archives and it’s so HD and crispy I’m in heaven.
Just started a 3 month long immersive boot camp for UX/UI Product Design today and I’m in love with it as a potential career. Here’s to hammering away the next three months and hopefully finding an exciting job opportunity on the other side. ITS NOW OR NEVER, I want to leave this lockdown better than I entered!
Anyone know anything about the quality of the Technics SL-1300MK2? My family has an old one they inherited but it’s definitely seen better days. Is it worth fixing up? Would it be a better deck than a Fluance RT85
Gotta love Analogue Productions man. Placed an order for Muddy Water's Folk Singer and Dave Brubeck's Jazz Goes To College, went down for an impromptu nap, woke up a few hours later and already have a shipping notification!
Voodoo is my favorite album ever followed probably by Al Green’s “Call Me” and I AINT AFRAID to say it. Those are just two impossibly monumental pieces of sonic perfection to me.
