Second record pressing surprise of the week. The Stone Roses best of is... actually pretty good? For a compilation (usually terrible quality) of something recorded likely on digital during the loudness wars... I'm very pleasantly shocked...
Hey, did you know TVOTR "Dear Science" was pressed on 1LP in North America, and 2LP in Europe? Why do I mention this?

Oh... no reason....
Okay, I know Books "Lemon Of Pink" is... divisive. But if you want a reference album to test out a new system, that VMP press is really astonishing. I'm not sure I'd call it music, but coming from a lifetime of tv production and a father that wrote and produced radio plays for CBC Canada, it really is an enjoyable listen in a theatrical sense. And dear lord it sounds incredible.
Currently in an Uber on way home from work. The app claims this vehicle is a "car", however I'm fairly certain that it's some sort of slightly modified shopping cart. Every time we hit a pebble it reverberates up my spine and the wheels sound like they're going to fall off.
It's definitely being powered by a lawnmower motor.
Or an angry hamster.
So someone is trying to steal my identity and as a result I just got a debit card and bank account created in my name except they think I'm a Mrs.
Mrs. Chanandler Bong and I have something in common now.
Shopping for a new couch, found one I really liked. Then discovered it was "designed" by Lenny Kravitz. I literally have no idea how to feel about this.
DAY 1: I got this, gunna be so healthy and shit. Hell, maybe I'll do dry February too!
DAY 7: These are dark days...
DAY 14: Heya Lloyd, I just happen to have two 20s and two 10s right here in my wallet. I was afraid they were going to be there until next April. So here's what: you slip me a bottle of bourbon, a little glass and some ice. You can do that, can't you? You're not too busy, are you?
