anybody buy a present for their postal worker for the holidays? if so, what do you get them? I feel like I should get my guy something for having to deliver so many records since he always takes good care of them (places them in the shade in the summer or in dry locations when it rains).

the new town we moved to has a smallish concert venue on the main street. in between booking acts like eagles and grateful dead cover bands, been kinda pleasantly surprised with the other shows coming up. just got tix to bonny light horseman and saw ben folds there last week.

A bit bummed that Rough Trade is closing shop in Brooklyn. Supposedly they will be back though elsewhere in NYC. More bummed that the venue inside will close. Saw lots of cool shows there.
