Richard Blade is a name I vaguely remember. Isn’t he a VJ with a music video show in the 1980s?
Yeah, he's a British dj who has been w KROQ in LA for years and also has a satellite radio channel. Fun guy.Richard Blade is a name I vaguely remember. Isn’t he a VJ with a music video show in the 1980s?
Same in PittsburghDestroyer and FJM on Saturday. With significantly worse lighting. But marvelous show as always.

Tried to figure out what venue this was then realized you were talking about Portland 2.0MJ Lenderman & The Wind last night in Portland. Amazing sound as always at Revolution Hall. MJ will be back for 2 more nights in September.
Patterson Hood joined at the start of the encore to add vocals and guitar on a cover of his song "Uncle Disney".
Ran into @Matt M after the show.

As you may know, it was a coin flip, literally. We could have been Boston 2.0.Tried to figure out what venue this was then realized you were talking about Portland 2.0

I love her banter! Will have to give her album a listen.I, personally, enjoyed her solo album so it was a delight to see those songs performed live. If you're lukewarm on the album and/or don’t enjoy Lauren’s between-song banter, then I would probably advise against seeing her because the setlist is literally the entire album plus one cover song. It’ll be a relatively short set time-wise, too, so it may not be worth it depending on the price to get in.
