The Tragically Hip "Saskadelphia" (2021 Universal)
Is there a more quintessential Canadian band than The Hip? This EP was released along with the 30th anniversary reissue of Road Apples and includes several tracks that were left off the album at the time. Saskadelphia is the title that was originally slated for that album, meant to evoke the road and the massive amount of touring they did across America at the time, but the label rejected it because it sounded too "Canadian". They then suggested "Road Apples" as a joke (it means "horse shit") but the label actually accepted! Road Apples is such a strong record, it's no wonder that the tracks left off of it were also fantastic. It's an essential EP for any fan, every single track being an absolute banger. Long live Gord!
