oof. this is something my post office would definitely do. i avoid having packages sent there at all costs. luckily our neighbors will take packages in if we're out of town or they see something sitting there for awhile.

Got my 1000E dialed in last night. Sounds fantastic - huge jump up from the Blue even before it's broken in. Probably the most noticeable of all the improvements I've made to my system (and ironically, likely the cheapest).

Well that's nice to hear. Was it an easy setup? Are they still available? I have the same system and wouldn't mind trying a change.

That's exactly where I am. Sounds like it would work with my system, I think? Darlington labs MM6 preamp, but thought I saw the original post say it would work. Don't want to shell out a bunch of cash, but for this price I would be in.

It’ll work fine. These are fantastic cartridges. I don’t think my Grados will see much turntable time now.

I’ve reached level where I don’t think I could afford meaningful upgrades. Speakers? Not for years if ever. I love what I have. Phono stage? Done. Turntable? Done. Power amp? Done. Line stage? I like what I have.

But this cartridge? Did you look at the specs? Slightly better than the Zephyr and indications point to the specs being legit. My Grados are great, but they aren’t this. Get some hours on yours. You’ll see. Basically these compete at the $1500 level for $99. We will never see a deal like this again.
