The SAE is taller like 17-18 mm and will work perfectly with your arm.

I was going to grab something like this as it looks similar to the original Rega head shell. If you have a better headshell suggestion please share. I don’t want to have to re align the old one if I mess up so I’d rather have the option to easily swap. Thanks!

I’m reading lots on this. Apparently a bunch were released into the wild about 10 years ago. The word is that it’s a roller coaster for the first 10 hours and things get better until 20 hours when it levels off.

Someone else said it sounds like a Grado on steroids- just what I want. Fingers crossed.
