Haha Yeah, they will do that to you every year.No offense, but I feel like The Reds are usually a disappointment. Outside the Cubs and maybe Milwaukee, there isn’t a whole lot standing in between them and the division.

I want a poverty franchise that has a chance of actually winning a World Series, The Prirates would be just as frustrating as The White Sox. More of a scrappy underdog than essentially AAAA Minor League team.Well you have to choose a NL team if you are going to maintain your Black Sox fan status.
If you are looking for a poverty franchise: maybe you are a Pirates Fan.
Poverty Franchise
Plus you get to keep the Pinstripes look and the black colorway with the added bonus of some of the most ridiculous throw-backs unis/hats ever - which fits right in with the White Sox Shorts uniforms of the 1970s
- Largest FA contract: Francisco Liriano, LHP (3/$39M, 2015)
- Larges Extension: Bryan Reynolds, OF (8/$106.75M, 2023)
And you get to root for Paul Skenes - so It'll be like you never traded away Dylan Cease.

The Guardians of Cleveland are the team you are looking for. They are a joy to watch and follow, and even if they weren't, listening to Tom Hamilton would still make it all worthwhile.I don’t know if it’s possible for me to watch less baseball than I did last year. I really need to think about adopting a new team. It’s tough though. I genuinely love the White Sox but I feel like a complete dumbass investing time, money, and effort into a team that clearly doesn’t give a fuck about winning. The Bears are inept but at least they try.
I would think about following the Mariners but given the we their current TV deal is structured and with blackouts of local markets with MLB.TV, they would actually be the most expensive team for me to follow.
I just like to be able to have game on in the background and not feel like I’m wasting my time.
Okay baseball fans, who else is down for joining a N+G fantasy league this year? We need at least 3 more teams to make it happen, and 5 or 7 would be more optimal.At the moment, we have:
@hatfieldpdx
@Viking Dan
@TenderLovingKiller® (tentative)
@Matt M
@AC Slaughter
Who else is in? Once we get closer to 10 I’ll go ahead and start a dedicated thread.
Talk to me if you can't fill the spots. I'm terrible at keeping up with fantasy baseball but I'll step in if you absolutely need a team to start the league.Okay baseball fans, who else is down for joining a N+G fantasy league this year? I kind of forgot that the subscription from last year is still active.I hope so. It's usually a little later in March
If you don’t find enough interest here and would still be interested in participating in a 10 team keeper league DM me, looks like one of our guys is dropping out this season.Okay baseball fans, who else is down for joining a N+G fantasy league this year?
