I hope these announcers start giving the Padres some credit instead of how the Mets are underperforming.

Agreed. Even though I despise the Mets and think they will underachieve, that Padres team has some extremely capable talent.

I mean, I get where they’re coming from, the Mets collapse is a big story, but come on….Profar was 2 for 3 vs Scherzer, Darvosh is lights out and pitch count crazy low, they hit some legit bombs. it isn’t like Scherzer is throwing up lobs.

. And like the Phils, I think both the Padres and Phils are teams that could get hot, especially in these short series. Still hoping for a Phillies/Mariners World Series. I'm sure it could be the least watched, but I would go for sure!

Yup, I kinda hate the Seahawks but have always had a soft spot for the Mariners dating back to Griffey Jr. They are a nice palette cleanser after the Uber disappointing White Sox season. Glad I have an M’s hat to rock while we are head back home.

I had no dog in that fight, but I’m glad when a game goes to that ridiculous extra innings, that the home team wins. Imagine sitting there for 5+ hours in a 0-0 game for them to lose

As soon as Morejon came in, I knew the Mets would score some runs. I have no idea why they didn’t put in Craig Stammen or Pierce Johnson….or anyone else. 30 pitches and get nobody out? Come on.

So dang happy! Looking forward to this series with the Braves, should be fun and stressful! And the Mariners won too! I need a Mariners/Phillies World Series so I can go watch a few games.
