I usually keep live albums away from my end of year music lists, but a new live Nils Frahm album feels much different given that he'll play considerably with the shape and structure of a composition and create a completely reimagined version (I think this will be especially true for the two Music with Animals cuts)

This single just dropped Friday from Sam Donald (never heard of the dude, and not sure if it was mentioned by anyone on here already). It's a "dark country" cover of SOAD's  Aerials. Fucking love it. Anyone who knows my taste in music knows I always steer away from country music. But I could get into some more "dark country" like this..

I almost bought the bored at my grandma house from Amazon when it was on sale for $23.99 but I ended up getting the new chastity belt instead. Now i wish I had gotten the bored at my grandma house album because its back on sale for $30.
 
Um, I'm not sure why it took me so long to get to Billie Eilish's album considering I enjoyed her last one, but damn. I'm only one listen through and realllllly dig it. I'm tentatively penciling it into tier 2. I'm 6 listens deep on Kendrick. It instantly clicked. Meanwhile, Tyler's just hit hard on what was probably my 5th listen earlier today. 2024 went from a horrid rap year to a solid one real quick.
