I absolutely loved Locke and Key, it's probably a top 10 series for me. The author is Stephen Kings son, so I guess horror/suspense run in the family.
 
Stayed up much too late to finish the Locke and Key run. What a story. That was phenomenal. So glad I checked them out from the library on a whim while my 3 year old was at lego club.

I see a few of my favorites on there, but really excited to see someone else express an appreciation for Daytripper; didn't get nearly enough attention when it was released. I still have all the single issues in one of my boxes.

It's really a fantastic comic, beautifully drawn and written. It's one of the few comics I have in both issues and trade. I cant reccomend it enough to anyone out there that hasnt read it.

Yea, I've got the two volume hard case collection of the entire series. Looks really good. Awesome concept. Haven't gotten around to reading them, lol. Also have the one-off issue with the Notorious BIG on cover and flexi-disc.

I haven't kept up on comics in a while and my collection probably looks lame to anyone looking for a deep dive. I've always preferred Marvel over DC but Batman is my all-time favorite character (own pretty much every major story arc and some not so major - Gotham by Gaslight, anyone?).

Loved the entire series of ones that have already been mentioned here: Preacher, 100 Bullets, Sandman (also big shout out to Gaiman's American Gods - such a brillaint book; haven't seen tv show but hear good things).

Some Punisher, Daredevil, X-men, Ronin, WE3 one-off was good, have some Ex Machina sitting on the shelf to read. Wife likes Saga a lot. Most anything Alan Moore because he is a great writer regardless of medium.

So many more I'm forgetting, but a well-paneled, drawn, paced, written comic (graphic novel if you're fancy) stands up there with the best literature modern humans have produced.

Just read Daytripper last night and really enjoyed it. Going to start in on Saga tonight.
 
Dropped into the comics shop yesterday; I really don't read much anymore, but saw Matt Fraction's doing a run of Jimmy Olson and thought it'd be cool to keep up with a monthly title.

Turns out that drops next month, so I picked up Saga vol. 7 (I'm eternally 2-4 years behind this series), and the first volume of Walt Simonson's Thor run.

I had no idea this was happening, but now I'm super excited. Pretty surprised to see him back at one of the big 2 though, I was almost certain he was done with them.

I love this bit from the summary hahaha.
