I absolutely loved Locke and Key, it's probably a top 10 series for me. The author is Stephen Kings son, so I guess horror/suspense run in the family.Currently flying through the series Locke and Key. Anyone read it (I still have a couple volumes to go, so no spoilers)?
It’s sort of Sandman-esque in some respects; very dark and intense; thriller/horror. Recommended.
It's so good. Rodriguez's art is so mind-bendingly fun to look at.Currently flying through the series Locke and Key. Anyone read it (I still have a couple volumes to go, so no spoilers)?

It's really a fantastic comic, beautifully drawn and written. It's one of the few comics I have in both issues and trade. I cant reccomend it enough to anyone out there that hasnt read it.I see a few of my favorites on there, but really excited to see someone else express an appreciation for Daytripper; didn't get nearly enough attention when it was released. I still have all the single issues in one of my boxes.
Yea, I've got the two volume hard case collection of the entire series. Looks really good. Awesome concept. Haven't gotten around to reading them, lol. Also have the one-off issue with the Notorious BIG on cover and flexi-disc.Anybody read Hip Hop Family Tree? I remember reading the strips when they were posted on Boing Boing years ago, but apparently its a multi-volume release now.
Hip Hop Family Tree
As hip hop has become a cultural juggernaut, with world-spanning influence, the lore of its origins has become the stuff of myth. So who better to document the formative years of this towering genre than self-proclaimed hip hop nerd and talented cartoonist Ed Piskor, acclaimed for his retelling...www.fantagraphics.com
I also need to catch up on Saga, but I'm kind of dreading doing so, because I think I know something.

I had no idea this was happening, but now I'm super excited. Pretty surprised to see him back at one of the big 2 though, I was almost certain he was done with them.Dropped into the comics shop yesterday; I really don't read much anymore, but saw Matt Fraction's doing a run of Jimmy Olson and thought it'd be cool to keep up with a monthly title.
