Day 22 – Surrender Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright. They just seem a little weird.
Play something you first heard from your parents or a relative *or* play something you introduced your children to.
Hot Chip - One Life Stand
My kids were converted to the gospel of Hot Chip when I showed them the transcendently strange "I Feel Better" music video.
Day 25 – Guardians Inferno Zardu Hasselfrau, Zardu Hasselfrau, hey.
I declare that Christmas is David Hasselhoff day this year! Play something somehow related to David Hasselhoff. Or play whatever you want. Anything goes.
Day 25 – Guardians Inferno Michael Buble - Christmas
Merry Christmas everybody! Hope you all have a fabulous day. I made it with 25 Xmas albums through the challenge, and this is one of our favourites for last.
When I used to do gig reviews for my newspaper, I got taken along on a jolly to Ronnie Scott's for the UK debut of this hot young singer, and it was Buble. We got v drunk, he came and hung out with our table, and I think (as it was December) he even sang a Christmas song. Can't say this has anything to do with David Hasselhoff though...

I didn't know The Hoff did a cover of JaMC!
A darker, grittier version of Knight Rider could certainly use Head On.

Most people don't realise that David Hasselhoff had a successful secondary career as a studio bass player on many R&B albums in the early 2000s. By far my favourite album that he played on is Kelly Price's album "Priceless".
In case you thought I was serious about bass-playing Hasselhoff, I was not.

Prince - Purple Rain
This prompt is difficult as the vast majority of my vinyl library contains limited influence from my parents' music tastes. I did however, learn of Prince's music from my mom at a young age, particularly 1999 and Purple Rain.
Day 25 – Guardians Inferno

Mclusky Do Dallas - it was a Christmas miracle that I got this before Christmas or at all!! A great way to wake up the whole family and I'm sure The Hoff did something in Dallas at some point, with or without KITT...again KARR was WAY cooler....Stashelhoff was what cool evil is all about...look did I say enough about the Hoff? Can a finish this morning whiskey and Wendy's burger on my floor in peace? SING IT!!
P.S. - my daughter dancing to this song is all the Christmas joy I need today...
I had too many Old Fashions last night to put much thought into todays play. So grabbed something that I loved but have not played in years.
Rachel’s were part of the fertile Louisville music world. Not sure how to describe them other than classical music played by alternative musicians. Not only is the music beautiful, so are the cd packages.
Day 24 – Flash Light You're getting me, getting me through the night. 'Cause you're my flashlight (flashlight). You're my flashlight (flashlight). You're my flashlight.
Play something festive!

Carolyn Mark & NQ Arbuckle – Let's Just Stay Here
Gonna go with this one because it's Carolyn Mark's birthday today. Also, she appears on the same compilation as the "David Hasselhoff" song I posted earlier!

The Pillows - Little Busters
Song: “Hybrid Rainbow”
Corresponding more to the “Anything goes” part. Got three Pillows records that I ordered months ago but received as a gift “from my daughter” today (“wow, how’d you know I wanted these three Japanese records?! That’s amazing!”). This song is a real standout
Day 23 – Father & Son Look at me, I am old, but I'm happy.
Play something old that you enjoy.
Ornette Coleman - The Shape of Jazz to Come
Avant-garde jazz has resonated with me more than the accessible hard bop/cool jazz in recent years. One of the "accessible" standards in the genre right here.
