Definitive Audiophile pressings

I haven’t heard the new stereo reissue; it’s on its way to me. But I just got a 1977 Japan King Record Co. stereo Blue Train and it sounds great, so that new one could be hard to resist.
I have that 1977 Japanese stereo version, too! So for now I only bought the mono version...I need someone to tell me the extra tracks and book in the new stereo release aren't that special.

Oh also my "Ass climbing contest" Google alert went off? When does it start and how many entries can I get? I'm like, really good at it you guys.
I misspoke. What was originally being recommended was more of a large/small intestine, duodenum climb, with a short swim through the stomach and then a near vertical esophegeal ascent into the dental cavity.

Limited ass climbing involved.

A little crackle on Pigs On The Wing 1, and a couple pops on Sheep. But neither was that bad and I'm hoping a better cleaning will clear it up. I was working so didn't do the closest listen, but I remember at a point in Dogs thinking the vocals sounded a bit muddy. I don't remember thinking that throughout it as a whole though, so I really need to do a closer listen tonight or tomorrow where I'm focused on it.

Right?! I'm late to the party so I don't know the context but I am interested in the contest.

Also does entry include gear or do we need to bring our own? Now, I feel more comfortable using my own, but clean up is a pain in the ass (pun intended) so I don't mind loaner gear.
