Just what kind of fucking bookshelf are we talking about here?

How do you like those JLBs? I've been thinking of trying a pair.

I can read the specs on paper but how do you find their range? Bass (I hear it's pretty good w those 12" woofers although I use a sub regardless)?

Easy or difficult to drive? They're not the most sensitive although the impedance is low.

Do you find the tilt provided by the stands to place the tweeter at a good angle?

What color grilled and how is the sound with them on (I've read negligible difference)?

Overall, do you like them? Worth the $ (funny enough, I see complaints about the price but, adjusted for inflation, they're at a similar price point as the 70s).

it's the annoying sticker seal they placed on the back of these mastersound releases. mine was wrecked too i think on this one since I bought mine opened.

Yeah, it seems like it woulda been a tough one to save and like Turbo said in the 1980s there were probably far less folks like us today that would be attempting to save something like this. I wonder if @snoops was able to save his. Saving 40 year old hype stickers can be a tricky proposition.

For those who got the Blue Train stereo--how panned is it? Is it a hard pan on instruments or is there some bleed?

They did a really great job with the soundstage. Close your eyes and you can “hear” them placed in the studio. Well done.

Like, I haven't heard anything as bad as the AP A Love Supreme where it detracts from listening until you get used to it. This did not bother me in the slightest.
