I feel lucky I went on a Speakers Corner Charles Mingus binge last month. Picked up Mingus at Antibes, The Clown, and Pithecanthropus Erectus from Music Direct. All 3 plus all other Mingus now out of stock!

Are these Speakers corner albums getting repressed? I really really want that Lou Reed, wish I had pulled the trigger months ago.

I grabbed the SCs of Patti Smith - Horses, Antonio Carlos Jobim - Stone Flower and It's Monk Time. I think you were one of the people who spoke highly of Patti. @HuddieLedbetter very kindly sent me a different reissue copy of it a few weeks ago (and also recommended the SC pressing if I liked it). I've been spinning it a bunch so figured I should get the upgrade.

The Lou is a repress already actually so seems they are repressing some! As @Mr Moustache said, it seems that there will be a repress of it around May hopefully!

The Mofi Cars debut is insane. I know using bangers and cars in the same sentence isn't usually an endorsement but that album is back to back banger time and it sounds fantastic. One of my fave lps to spin
