Definitive Audiophile pressings

So is this reissue of Pearl Jam Vs. pressed at 45rpm going to be the definitive version? That's my favorite record by them, and the URP pressing I currently have is kinda mediocre.

It's the one that I keep putting in my cart but not checking out.

30th Anniversary Edition. Hits US stores tomorrow. It's 45rpm 2xLP on black vinyl. $39.99 USD.

No clue if it's a remaster or by who. Was hoping everyone here could fill me in.

I believe Yield was plated at RTI and pressed at Furnace, so if Vs. is the same, I think I'll be buying it as an upgrade.

Isn’t Levi Seitz doing most of their remastering?

That's the copy I have. only minor gripe is the side D bonus material. It's fine but also kinda superfluous. I wish they had just spread out the tracks a bit more and nixed the bonus cuts all together.

Agreed, the bonus material is terrible and pointless. Odd choice.

The original japanese pressing is quite good as well. I've had good success with Japanese Motown releases from the 70's and early 80's.

No US listing on Discogs. Might be too early and hasn't been posted yet, or it may not exist. Aren't you more likely to get EU versions in Canada?
