I’ve never heard the mofi but the rhino easily smoked my original pressing.I think I need a great version of Candy-O, my used copy doesn't do it justice. Leaning to the Rhino HiFi over the MoFi based on what @snoops posted. Looks like it's in stock...
What the fuck did I do to the thread?
so far i think both Rhino HiFi Cars albums were better than the MoFis.
The other 25% are by Aerosmith (and as such I assume they were and are illiterate)The Wizard is also a song about, Gandalf. Which will surprise no one as it seems like 75% of all rock tunes in the early 70s were written about LOTR.

Aluminium Bloke, actually. Let’s just say the original needed a lot of workshopping.Originally it was referred to as Iron Bloke by the band.
Can you link me the discogs for this one so I can check it out.Just picked up the 2021 Stooges Fun House pressed at Optimal. This absolutely smokes the Rhino, I'm shocked. Sounds like a different record. $29 too. Yes please and thank you.
For sure. But it's the same barcode as the wide release Rhino. So you gotta look for the "Made in Germany" sticker on the back and no big Rhino promo sticker on the front... The barcode won't tell the whole story. Can you link me the discogs for this one so I can check it out.
The Wizard is a perfect example of what vinyl can bring to the table. Also, this is the absolute joy of the hobby and this forum. Best local record shop on the planet — even for the things that you just go, wait, what? Oh. Wow. I didn’t get that… but I do now.
Edit: and holy heck, the Wizard
Good piece of info to file away next time I am in an actual record store. Be interesting to compare it to my reissue from 82For sure. But it's the same barcode as the wide release Rhino. My thoughts exactly,Just settling into listening to the new RHF.
Devo sounds really cool. No other copies to compare but definitely happy with it.
This album does well with the detail KG brings.
The Sabbath is really good but my '76 German copy just jams a lot more. I think the UK tapes just might be better. Geezer's bass sounds like a beast on the older copy. Tony's guitar also has a more natural tone. Glad to have both but I would let go of the RHF if I had to pick.
