Definitive Audiophile pressings

Yeah, I keep tabs on the good audio engineers, not the mediocre or bad ones so if I don’t recognize the name then I assume that’s not really a selling point worth noting.
He’s done a bunch of the lackluster Verve by Request at Third Man releases and is all over the Interscope subscription. He is high profile in jobs and at best mediocre in execution. He’s a VP for Universal or something which is probably why he gets so much work.

This looks cool, the latest in the Miles Davis Bootleg series. 8 LP's covering their performances in Antibes on the 26th, 27th, 28th July, 1963 with George Coleman, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter and Tony Williams, and the show at Salle Pleyel in Paris on 1st October 1964 which featured Wayne Shorter, Hancock, Carter and Williams in their second ever concert.

Interestingly, I just listened to a really great interview yesterday on the Vinyl Guide podcast with Vince Wilburn Jr, Miles' nephew and the co-manager of his estate.
