I’ve been avoiding ordering from abroad for now since I’ve already had 3 albums just completely go missing in the past few months. I also typically buy US pressings if I go for an OG from an American artist (and go UK if it’s a British artist, etc). Not sure if it’s true or not but I had read as a rule of thumb that you’re more likely getting something from the original master instead of a copy tape in a lot of instances
Or ask your mam and dad to get it for you for Christmas like all self respecting 40 year old men do...

Finally stopped doing that, but every time I look up something lately I regret it because prices seem to be 2-5x what they were just two years ago when I was checking every day.
My saved searches are for wider terms like MFSL now which is dangerous haha. I don’t do many for individual albums. I also have lots of regrets for albums I never picked up for cheap but I also have way too many records and realize I can’t possibly buy them all...so the Roon setup has been getting it’s use.Self imposed? I wouldn't characterize $20-30 as cheap either fwiw. I actually had searches for New York and Berlin at one point and am regretting not getting the for like $12 or whatever they were at on a good auction then. Passed on a lot of stuff holding out for a really good deal.
