Definitive Audiophile pressings

For anyone who has been alerted to this album in this thread and doesn't want to spill $50 for the MoFi version, this Music on Vinyl pressing from Amazon offers a nice alternative that's $20 less expensive. Works for me as this is a title I wouldn't even have known about if not for having it brought to my attention by all the plaudits here. And they're justified!
This MOV pressing is flat, quiet, and sounds very good, especially (to me) on cuts where the focus is on Bill Withers' voice. Quite a talented song writer, and his enthusiasm for playing before a live crowd is infectious. I can believe there was a lot to work with to create the MoFi version, and I imagine it sounds amazing.

Listening to this Target sale purchase and have to offer it up as another one worth seeking out if you’re a Cranberries fan and don’t have a copy of this you’re perfectly happy with. Checks all the boxes: flat, quiet, sounds great (Dolores harmonizing with herself.....what a thing of beauty), very sturdy gatefold. Quite a bargain at 33% off.

Yep! I'm glad they seem to have already had these pressed and waiting to go out. Got my shipping notice too. I've been so accustomed to waiting 6+ months (and longer for MoFi) that it's definitely a nice surprise. I'll get it in time for my bday!

Curious about whether this Impulse! 60th series reissue series is one and the same with the Acoustic Sounds series. Seems like it is...but if that's the case, looks like we're getting:

FREAKING FINALLY. Been trying to pick up a good copy of that Art Blakey for years now. Hoping these are related to the AS series, all analogue releases of these are going to be absolutely epic. Interested to see if they can do an AAA Journey In Satchi
I'm not so sure, if they have listed Out of the Cool, wouldn't they include the Ray Charles as being released on Acoustic Sounds. I have a feeling this list will be represses / an extension of the Vital Vinyl series.

It just says Additionally, keep an eye out for frontline releases from Sons of Kemet (Spring 2021), Brandee Younger (Summer 2021), and Pino Palladino and Blake Mills (March 2021).

Damn, there's some decent picks here.
Interesting about the Comet Is Coming and Sons Of Kemet. I know they have new releases coming out this year but the video seems to imply its 'Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery' and 'Your Queen Is A Reptile' which would be a weird thing to reissue seeing as they are relatively new and readily available.
