Definitive Audiophile pressings

I'm with @Ghost on this one, definitely not about it being inoffensive. I don't repeat listen to loads at the minute, but whenever I do pull out Scenery for a listen I really enjoy it. Definitely not the most boring title mentioned in the definitive Audiophile pressings thread. I've said it before, but if we all had the same tastes then all this music would very quickly become boring.

That could be a new fun thread, 'definitively boring vinyl pressings'.
Completely agree. My position is kinda nuanced and is more regarding to the hype behind the album than the music being made. I am completely happy that you and many others enjoy it. It’s just a milquetoast example (again, IMO) of the style for the internet to pull off the scrap heap of overlooked 1970s Jazz albums and champion. Like if I had friend who really liked the album, I wouldn’t have much to say about it. It’s fine, to each their own but if felt like 2 or 3 years ago this became an highly regarded album in the record collecting community and I personally don’t get the hype when compared with other albums of the same style.

Miles Smiles is up for order

so is iron butterfly

edit: these both seem to be limited to a number instead of an open run so do with that what you will!
