Did anyone else pick this up from the recent post here? Are you getting static/noise at the tail end of the A Side?

Both copies of mine had identical noise in identical spots on both presses. Lines up with reviews I've seen on cogs that mention the same thing.

Agreed! Great KPG job yet again. But yeah those couple spots of both copies. I don't know if it was a dirty stamper or what but it's visible on both and in almost exactly the same spots. I'm not sure who pressed it, curious though.

GENERALLY speaking, aside from warps. I've never had many issues with Mofi 45s.

So yes likely when I open this it will unleash a plague of locusts.

Hey @Sonicpharmacist I saw you chasing Crooked Rain Crooked Rain of on Reddit. Just an FYI the 2010 KPG cut is unfortunately pressed at United. If you want the best version you should try to pick up the 2007 Reissue. It’s still cut by KPG but it’s pressed at RTI. Plus it will save you a bunch of frustration as the Discogs listing (while more expensive) do seem to be at least listed accurately.

I don't particularly care, but I bet the Hoffman forums are having a meltdown over the tape warble off the top of Nilsson Mofi "Gotta Get Up" right before his first vocal line kicks in. Pretty sure that's not supposed to be there.

It sounds incredible. Massive sound, as wide as my room. Other than the little tape warble it's unreal.

The new St Vincent is a Chris Bellman cut and pressed at Pallas. It sounds really great and made a better impression on me playing it on vinyl compared to the stream.
