Definitive Audiophile pressings

Also...what versions of Deja Vu do you all recommend that won’t break the bank 😂
Can't go wrong with a VG+ or better George Piros pressing from the early 70s. Those are usually cheap and good. The Sam Feldman cut from the late 70s/early 80s is supposed to be awesome too I think, and kinda rare but I swear I saw them for affordable prices on discogs recently.

High praise for the new UHQR Kind Of Blue.

Hoping i'll get a shipping confirmation next week.

I just received an email from Deep Discount about shipment of a Speakers Corner title I guess I ordered some time ago that was out of stock at the time (though I think that wasn't perfectly clear when I placed the order back at the beginning of March). In stock currently, for under $38 with the discount (code SPRING15) if anyone is interested. I've read a lot of good things about this pressing. According to discogs it's mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed at Pallas.

that album sounds great, it's an absolutely fantastic pressing on a par with the Lou Reed Speakers Corner.

Just wanted to second that the Bowie reissues sound good overall. I have all of the box sets to date, and apart from the problems with Heroes, I've been very happy with them. Not sure that they're all AAA – I know Ziggy is for sure, but I know there are some digital glitches on a couple of the others.
It sounds like the current Ziggy has changed from the box, though. For a while I know it was the same, which I believe was the same as the AAA 2012 40th reissue, but on discogs it sounds like they started using different plates on an otherwise identical pressing if the comments are correct.

I read somewhere (cannot remember where) that there was a batch of the Ziggy coloured vinyl that used the Ken Scott dvd mix from the box set. Not sure if it is true or not
